How launching works

One coin per post
A post can be coined here once. Whoever launches it first is its creator, and the coin stays tied to that post for good.
Its holders choose its name
The launcher picks the first name, ticker and picture, and they aren't final. Anyone holding 1,000,000 coins can put another forward, holders vote with what they hold, and the winner is written to the coin on Solana.
One signature
Launching is a single transaction you approve in your wallet. It creates the coin on Meteora's bonding curve and places your first buy if you set one. It costs about 0.012 SOL in rent and network fees, and it can't be undone.
The price follows a curve
Each buy moves the price up the bonding curve and each sell moves it back down. There is no presale and no order book, and every trade pays a 1% fee. Meteora keeps a fifth of it. Of the rest, 50% goes to the wallet that launched the coin and 50% to this site.
It graduates at 89 SOL
Supply is fixed at 1,000,000,000 coins. Once 89 SOL is in the curve, the coin graduates: Meteora moves its liquidity to a pool, locked for good, and trading continues there.
The coin is real, and it isn't the author's
It is a coin on Solana, with the post linked in its metadata. The post's author didn't issue it and isn't asked. Its price can go to zero, and nothing here is advice.
